Machine Sponges

We offer a wide range of sponges1 to suit all sponging machines, including finger skirts, flatware sponges, belt sponges and cup-edge sponges.

We also offer loop velcro backing-belts for these items together with hook Velcro sponge recovery units. This means that if the sponge part wears out, you only need to replace the sponge element, not the backing-belt, which saves money.

Not only do we offer a standard range of these items in various sponge qualities, we can also design and manufacture bespoke robot sponges according to customers’ ideas, such as tapering, longer handles etc.

Finger Skirts are available with different shapes and sizes of fingers to clean the edges of hollow-ware.

We also offer Zeidler-type flap-sponging belts which can adapt for cleaning and smoothing hollow-ware.

Our range of round Flatware Sponges have various Outer and Inner Diameters so that they fit all machines and can be manufactured in qualities to suit the clay body.

Belt sponges are available in different lengths, widths and thicknesses to suit different machines. They can also have slits cut into them to increase the sponging area.

We also offer profiled belt sponges5 which have “S” and “U” type shapes for specialist sponging processes.

Profiled (wave or eggbox) sponges are available for fitting to machines to sponge tableware.
